On December 31, 2019, Cincinnati Christian University closed, after 96 yrs. Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, Missouri, has stepped into the gap, with a plan to continue the purpose of preparing people for ministry and worship, of taking Christ to the nations. President David Fincher states the status of CCCB for Cincinnati area Christians and Churches.

Central Christian College of the Bible has established and is administering The Christian Church Leadership Foundation (CCLF), a non-profit organization registered in Ohio. CCLF is made up of three ministry enterprises that are being maintained in the Cincinnati area.

  • The CCL Network provides personalized support that empowers churches and leaders to thrive in ministry.
  • The Russell School of Ministry uses innovative courses and experiences to produce successful church leaders for the 21st century.
  • The George Mark Elliott Library is being evaluated and prepared for its eventual relocation to another site in the Cincinnati area.

Gifts to CCCB for its Cincinnati efforts are paying the employees and expenses of these ministry enterprises as they educate current and future church leaders while establishing an extension site that can be used to award accredited degrees to students in the greater Cincinnati area. In the coming months, they will be recruiting new students to begin studying in the Fall of 2020 at both an Ohio and Kentucky location, subject to approval.
